Campillo Gran Reserva 2015 unveils an aromatic palette where intertwined notes of black cherries and stewed plums meld with hints of vanilla and cinnamon. This deep red wine promises a tasting experience where fruit and spices play a leading role. Campillo Gran Reserva is a red wine from La Rioja produced by the Campillo winery. It is a coupage of two of the most used varieties in the region: the Tempranillo and the Graciano.
The grapes used come from low yield, hundred year old grapevines, which allow a better concentration of bouquet and taste in each of the grapes. The harvest is done with the maximum care, using small boxes to avoid damaging the harvested grapes. On entering the winery, the best bunches are selected that will later be used in the wine-making.
Campillo Gran Reserva, after a production process that follows the teachings of the area´s years of experience, is aged for 30 months in French oak barrels from Allier.
