Gran Bajoz has a deep, warm ruby colour with purple highlights and an equally deep and plush nose, with tobacco, spices (cinnamon, cloves and vanilla) and earthy notes set against bittersweet blueberry, mulberries and cherry fruit with a hint of orange peel. On the palate this powerful wine is packed rich berry fruits, damson and plum with ripe tannins that flood across the mouth. It has the perfect balance of fruit and delicate French oak with hints of sweet, spicy American oak, velvety tannins and a lovely long elegant finish.
