Established in 1638 by Christiano Kopke and his son, Nicolau Kopke. They came to Portugal as representatives of the Hanseatic League. The House of Kopke is the eldest porto wine export firm. Befitting their status as the oldest port house, their bottles are easily recognisable by their traditional and hand-stencilled style. Kopke Fine Tawny Port Wine presents a vivid orangey-brown colour. On the nose, it reveals aromas of ripe and honeyed fruit combined with fragrant notes of vanilla and spice. A smooth and round palate, full of rich and enveloping flavours.
