Oak Ridge Winery is the oldest operating winery in Lodi, California. Built in 1934, it is now owned by the Maggio and Reynolds families who had previously been growing wine grapes in the region and supplying elite Californian winemakers with superb fruit to make their wines. The Maggio Old Vines Petite Sirah (a synonym for the Durif grape) is a richly coloured wine that offers opulent notes of dark berried fruit and blueberry, with nuances of black pepper, fine cocoa and vanilla. Showing lovely balance, the ripe fruit is enveloped in elegant tannins through to a lingering finish.
