Sazerac 6 yr. Rye is made with rye grain and distilled in Kentucky. The spirit is aged for a minimum of two years in new, charred oak barrels. It's not a single barrel rye, rather a small batch made from a select and small blend of barrels. Sweet with spices, stem ginger, black pepper rise on the nose. To taste burnt caramel, dried herbs, and black pepper drive through finishing on a minty pepper that accompanies the typical cinnamon, vanilla.
