Sula Vineyards was formed in the year 1999 by Rajeev Samant, in Nashik, India. Rajeev set up Sula as he realised that his hometown, Nashik, had great potential to produce table grapes. His company started growing phenomenally over the next few years. Today, Sula Vineyards is the top wine company in India and Nashik, undoubtedly came to be known as the country’s wine capital. The wineries are located across two states – Maharashtra and Karnataka. All thee wineries are equipped with high-class technology. Together, all the wineries are good enough to process a capacity of 12 million litres of wine. Before starting Sula Wines, Rajeev learnt the basics of winemaking from a Californian winery. Today, the owner of that winery and a good friend of Rajeev, Kerry Damskey, is the master winemaker at Sula. Product Notes
